Highest Training Standards
No other transport agency has higher training standards for its medical personnel. In addition to requirements established by the local EMS Medical Director, Elite Medical Transport requires:
- Certification in Geriatric Education for Emergency Medical Services-GEMS(to date we are the only transport agency to require this certification).
- Both Emergency Vehicle Operations and Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator II(CEVO II) certifications.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support-ACLS(in areas where we operate at the advanced life support levels of service).
- Basic Trauma Life Support-BTLS-National Fire Academy Leadership course I, II, III (for management and personnel).
- Basic Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support-PALS(for all advanced life support personnel).
- University of Charlotte EMS Management Institute (for management personnel).
- Our personnel are compensated for monthly training. We have applied to NCOEMS to become established as a Teaching Institution.
State of the Art Equipment
All of our ambulances are brand new as well as all of our equipment. All of our vehicles will be surplused at regular intervals based on mileage. This means that your residents will never be placed in an old, unsafe, unreliable ambulance. The equipment used to treat them will be the best on the market.
Professional Billing Services
Elite Medical Transport uses the Colleton Corporation for billing, which has built a reputation as a premiere medical billing company. Colleton also designed the documentation program used by Elite Medical. The software is PREMIS compliant and is used by Wake Technical Community College and Harnett County EMS. Elite Medical Transport is a paperless operation with powerful data collecting and reporting tools for Peer Review and Quality Assurance.

Professional Infrastructure
Elite Medical Transport has the resources to assure that we remain on the cutting edge of the industry. We are equipped to deal with the ever changing environment of pre-hospital patient care and transportation. We employ our own Medicare consultants and have an attorney on staff. In addition, our finances are monitored by independant accountants to assure all our business practices are legal and correct.

If we can't get your resident to an appointment on time, or if we have been unexpectantly detained and will not make it when we are scheduled, we will call another agency(of your choice) to pick up the patient. Your residents will never miss an appointment to return home.
